Steinway Piano Galleries, Atlanta GA, presented acclaimed jazz pianist, Cyrus Chestnut in a special master class in conjunction with some of Atlanta’s Top jazz educators (Chuck Mandt, Gary Motley, and Ted Howe). He has performed with some of the leading players in music including Wynton Marsalis, Dizzy Gillespie, Freddie Hubbard, and Betty Carter, just to name a few and released many award-winning recordings and toured around the world with his trio and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. This master class was well attended by jazz lovers, students and educators and was sponsored by Steinway & Sons, makers of the world’s finest pianos. |
